'Toxic' Masculinity

The end of my junior year semester taught me a lot about feminism and male inclusiveness. I recently wrote a big research paper on the comparison of the progress and current state of the feminist movements of the United Kingdom and America. What I found was that - because of French Revolutionist ideas influence during the time of the Enlightenment, men were apart of the feminist movement in the United Kingdom since day one. It was began by affluent men (priest, political leaders, businessmen, artisans, etcetera) along with women, because they believed men and women should have equal rights, beginning with equal education.

In America - a colony that had to fight for its independence from Great Britain - racial issues of slavery were prominently focused on along with gender relation issues. Not saying the United Kingdom didn’t deal with that as well, but I am saying that America has been built on a great deal of intersectional issues in strife for a building of United democracy of a grand amount of immigrated people, and gender relations are only on the spectrum of issues dealt with throughout history.

WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID, male inclusiveness will get us IMMENSELY FAR. Yes harness your female energy, but do not exile complementarity! We are one human race together and gender relation equality is a two way street. Just as women must build each other up rather than tear them down, we must do the same with men and collectivize as a whole. In 2018 I don’t wanna hear any more “fuck men”’s because grouping and polarizing will never get us anywhere we want to be in terms of harmony, equality, and prospering.

Perspective is everything and love is the answer always.
